Mary weber-Young, Ph.D. L.P.C., has been practicing full time since 1991. She works with both adolescents and adults, helping people to not only understand the underlying meaning of their behaviors, but to also help them find more effective and productive ways of dealing with those issues. Dr. Young is experienced in treating the full range of eating disorders; other compulsive behaviors/addictions, marriage and family issues and transitions across the life-span. These include but are not limited to parenting issues; depression, personality disorders, grief and loss.

A St. Louis native, Dr. Weber-Young holds a doctorate in Clinical Social Work and a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. Dedicated to ongoing training and research. Dr. Weber-Young lectures both locally and nationally, and has served as field supervision for practicum students. She also provides supervision to other clinicians in the community. Dr. Weber-Young regularly attends conferences in order to integrate the most current research and best practice treatment philosophies into her clinical practice.

Dr. Young published her first book in 2009.
