Dr. Young published a book of research on Internet Relationships March 2009.

Dr. Young was a guest presenter for the second year in a row at the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals conference in 2006 in South Beach Florida. The presentation topic “Didactic Tools for Group Psychotherapy” was offered to help prepare other clinicians with ideas to help patients understand the metaphor of eating disorders.

2006 - Dr. Young presented to the Massachussetes Eating Disorder Association in Boston.

2006 - Dr. Young published an educational article in “Street Talk” a publication for the law enforcement community.

October 2006 - Dr. Young was a feature presenter at the Southern Illinois Dating Disorder Workshop titled: A Skill Building Workshop for Southern Illinois Health Professionals.

Dr. Young participated as an expert in two videos about eating disorders and related topics. The first is about treatment options called “Letting It Go” and is available for viewing on the website www.mccallumplace.com.

The second is a nationally syndicated video called “Mirror Mirror” and is about adolescents and body dysmorphic disorder. This video can be viewed by visiting http://homepage.mac.com/atwoodtom/tomatwood/Menu54.html.

January 2005 - Dr Young was part of a panel discussion for the Thin Line presentation- This one woman play about eating disorders has been a very successful venue previously in St. Louis, for presenting information about the experience of dealing with an eating disorder from the perspective of both patient and loved ones.

Spring 2004 - Dr. Young lectured on eating disorders in San Francisco at the Nat'l School Social Workers annual Convention.

July 2004 - Dr. Young presented a workshop on group skills for working with body image at the International Association for Eating disorder professionals (IAEDP) in Las Vegas, NV.
